I am thrilled to have my work finally downtown, on Broad Street, at Spencer Art Gallery ll. Jerry and Catherine Spencer have two galleries there, full to the brim with paintings by many different artists.
It is a salon style gallery with paintings to the ceiling, and it is fun to meet so many other artists whose work is here. We work in the gallery two days a month so we get to interact with people who walk in. I like that. Come see me, and visit the paintings if I am not there! The location is across the street from Fast and French, the amazing little cafe that’s always worth a visit, and on either side of the street and around the corner are some of the finest galleries in town. Charleston’s art scene is absolutely in renaissance!
My friend Matt Broome of Charleston Photo Safaris turned me on to the place. He is one amazing and gifted ball of energy. If you are in town, and want to take some beautiful pictures, contact Matt. I will be doing some Art Walk Photo Safaris with him. The first one will include one of my favorite historic beautiful places, the sculptural grave markers at the Circular Church. Stonecarver’s Art Walk. Check him out and come do a walk with us!

Hey Charlotte….so excited for you. Sent this to Johnny and another friend who is in town for the weekend. I hope they stop in to see you ! With pride for you, Diane
